Great cause, great bands, terrible A/V crew
The audio/visual crew was horrible (newbies?). Some of the bands, I couldn't hear any vocals because the instruments were too loud. Loved the bands, the cause, and the volume of people that came out to rock for 2 days. I left early each night because the sound was intolerable... and I'm not talking about the music itself (which was great); I'm talking about the audio crew. Overall I'd still recommend the event because it's a great cause. They had background music playing between band songs that they forgot to turn off. The big screens were nice to see the bands better from lawn seating, but the KVM switch used to flip between camera views had a lag, so instead of instantly cutting from one camera to the next, there was a black screen due to the lag before the next image showed up...like this show was being run by rookie audio/visual folks. The on site A/V crew needs better gear and training.
